31st Annual GHC

This week we are exhibiting at the 31st Annual Governor’s Hurricane Conference at the West Palm Beach Convention Center. The GHC is the nation's pre-eminent conference focused on hurricane planning, preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. The conferece will feature over 300 hours of training and workshops covering all aspects of hurricane readiness, full of the latest trends, topics, tools and technologies to best improve your disaster response/recovery processes.

We would like to invite you to stop by the SatPhoneStore exhibit at Booth 212 sometime during the week to meet some of our team and learn about the latest we have to offer for off the grid communications. We will be featuring Beyond Line-of-Sight interoperable Push-to-Talk solutions such as Iridium PTT and Cobham PTT that allow you to extend your talks groups via LTE and satellite technology.

You can also take a look at our new Starcom line of tracking products and services, as well as satellite phonesportable satellite internet terminals and VSAT.

Our Vice President, Sam Crowther, will be on hand and is looking forward to discussing with you how we can work together to help your team stay connected independent of terrestrial networks.

"We are an authorized distributor and service provider for Iridium, Inmarsat, Globalstar and several VSAT services, and our team is ready to work with you to get you the proper solution to complete your mission at the critical moment," Crowther stated.

The theme of the 2017 conference is "Preparedness Works!" placing emphasis on the need to be ready for when a storm hits.

"Reliable communications technology is always important, but during the first few hours after a storm it is crucial.  The last thing you want to worry about is whether or not your are connected," said Crowther. "SatPhoneStore has been keeping first responders connected for almost twenty years.  We worked around the clock to offer reliable support through several large scale disasters including Hurricanes Wilma, Charley and Katrina and the Haiti Earthquake."
