Trio Gen 3 Starlink Flatmount with VHB Tape Landing Pads & Release Lever

Starlink has unveiled the All-New Generation 3 Starlink Standard Dish, now available for purchase.

The TRIO Flatmount offers a sleek and practical mounting solution for the Gen 3 Starlink, suitable for boats, RVs, or vehicles. Installation is simple: just release the tabs on the Starlink kickstand, slide it out, and insert the TRIO flatmount until it securely clicks into place.

The Gen 3 TRIO Flatmount is suitable for both permanent and temporary installation on various vehicles, including vans, RVs, box trucks, campers, boats, and sailboats.

If your vehicle has a curved roof, the mount itself has slight flexibility, but additional pivoting leg adapters may be necessary for optimal surface contact when using rubber-coated magnets, VHB landing pads, or suction cups.

For fixed mount options, such as through bolt and VHB adhesive, a release lever is included to facilitate easy removal of the dish from the mount when desired. This allows users to quickly detach it from the vehicle and reinstall the Starlink kickstand for deployment in another location, such as at home or away from the vehicle when parked under trees.

The mount has been engineered to withstand normal driving conditions and turbulence, including highway speeds. However, for permanent mounting, it is recommended to install it behind another item, such as an AC unit or storage box, for wind dampening. Ensuring the antenna mount is securely fastened is essential for optimal performance.
